Fantastic villas in Tsilivi

This is our 2nd stay at the Fantastic Mamfredas Resort in Tsilivi. We were due to be there in August 2020 but Covid-19 struck the world. So we got in touch with Angela to make arrangements to move our booking to August 2021. With Covid-19 still around & having a very young Grandson & very senior member of the family in our group we got in touch with Angela again & we moved stay to August 2022.nThank you Angela for being a Fantastic understanding host. nAngela arranged for a air-conditioned minibus to collect us from the airport & take us to the resort. nOur villa was all ready for us & Angela was there to great us & show us to our villa. There was a welcome pack of cold drinks, fruit & water etc ready as well.nThe villas are about 250 yards from the beach if you want a change from your private pool.nAcross the road from the entrance is the Half way house restaurant that we can highly recommend to at least visit once as the food is excellent, so no need to book a taxi to a restaurant that is as good.nThere is a small supermarket nearby next to the Summertime snack bar, nEach villa has a parking space for parking a car if you want to hire one & go exploring the Beautiful Island of Zakynthos. This we recommend to do.nThe villas have a large open area on the ground floor where the fully fitted kitchen is. The Kitchen has a good size electric oven for cooking, this we always use. It also has an electric hob. There is also a dishwasher washer to also make life easier. There is a good size fridge/freezer to keep you food ( Mythos & Grampsas wine) in. The area is well furnished & has space for an extra folding bed that our grandchildren used.nOff the kitchen is a good size double bedroom with en suite bathroom. This bedroom opens out onto the covered patio area. nAlso off this room is a separate room with a toilet @ washing machine.nOn the first floor the are 2 good size double bedrooms each having en suite bathrooms. These 2 bedrooms have access to a large covered balcony where there is seating that can be used for breakfast etc. There is also a large swinging chair. There is also direct access from the internal staircase from the ground floor direct to this balcony so you dont need to access a bedroom.nYour private rear garden has the good size swimming pool that has sunbeds & a table with a parasol & table. The rear garden is lined each side with a good hedge making it very private. The garden has a sprinkler system that keeps it look great so be aware late at night. nThere is a BBQ that is big enough to cook steaks, burgers & chops etc at the same time. This we made good use of.nPlease take some time to have a look at the well maintained landscaped surrounding grounds & keep an eye open for the many butterflies.nThere is a daily laundry service & fresh towels for each sunbed so you dont need to worry about towels.nThe pool is checked & cleaned every morning so nice & safe.nI hope I havent missed anything & I hope you enjoy your stay.nWe have been coming to Tsilivi for many years & the Mamfredas Luxury Resort is one of the best places to stay.nWe hope to be back in 2023.n

Villa perfection

Our 5th visit and can’t wait to come back.nnVery well appointed villa and gardens; great location - 3 minutes to beach, Halfway House restaurant across the road and Summertime Bar and supermarket 100 yards away.nnEasy to book directly ; great email communication and they will arrange airport transfers.nnHard to fault in any way.

Awesome villa! Fantastic location and area.

Fantastic family holiday in amazing villa! Close to everything!nThe villa has 3 double bedrooms each with there own bathroom. The villa is modern, clean, spacious and has everything you could want. Angela has been very helpful and professional.nWe had fresh pool towels everyday, cleaners everyday with fresh towels daily and bedding every other day. The pool and gardens are kept clean and tidy.nYou have a shop opposite of the villa for supplies and a couple of minutes walk to the sandy beach. Perfect villa! Lots of restaurants, bars, shops within a 5 minute walk.nWe will definitely be back!nThank you to all the mamfredas team for a perfect stay!

Fabulous villa

The villa was lovely, modern, clean and spacious. The gardens are beautifully maintained with flowers, shrubs and fruit trees. The welcome pack was very generous. The staff were all fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. The private garden is quite small with a smallish pool but quite adequate and lots of fresh towels and sun beds. The upstairs has a huge balcony which can be accessed without going through the bedrooms. The villa location is perfect - only a few minutes from the beach and 5/10 min walk from the main road with all the restaurants and bars. I would not hesitate to recommend it and would be delighted to go again.

A very beautiful place

It is a good place to spent the vacantion. It is proper, in mine opinion, for family and friends. The comlex has 8 beautiful houses, each has swiming pool. The cleaning is made every day, in the morning in the bathroom, room, kitcken and the yard. The personal is very, very friendly and they help you with the advice were to eat on the island and what to visit.

Absolute Perfection

We last stayed at these beautiful villas in August 2018 and so happy to have returned at the end of July 2020. From the minute we arrived we relaxed completely with the genuine warm welcome of the family. Angela took us to our Villa and it was just as we remembered. nnThe villa was spotless, luxurious and the cleaners and gardener work so hard to maintain the high standards. nnAngela is an outstanding host and goes above and beyond expectations, always responds quickly to requests and visits frequently to check everything is ok. Thank you so much! nnVilla location is perfect, with beach a few minutes stroll away, supermarket on corner, fantastic Halfway House restaurant opposite and 5 mins walk to the main resort road of Tsilvi with its many shops and quality bars and restaurants. nnWe so needed this break, glad we took the opportunity to travel as Greece opened for UK tourists and can’t wait to return. nnAbsolute Perfection. Thank you Mamfredas, we will see you again soon.

Fantastic week!

A warm friendly welcome awaited us when we arrived at the resort, we were shown to our villa which was immaculate and beautifully presented, in the kitchen a fantastic selection of complementary fruit, cereals, milk bread & both soft & alcoholic drinks all awaited us. (A lovely touch). The villa was outstanding & equipped with everything you needed for a perfect weeks stay, the cleaners & gardeners would visit everyday & refresh our pool towels. I cannot recommend the villas highly enough!nnFantastic & thank you!

Amazing villas

What an amazing villa complex this is even though it’s set in the heart of tsilivi with what is a couple of busy roads it’s a very tranquil place to be. Angela and her team are brilliant very attentive and can’t do enough for you. The cleaners come round twice a day 1st to drop the pool towels off and clean the pool/outside areas then later in the day to change towels and clean the whole villa. The pool is checked and cleaned every day and the gardens taken care of. On arrival we were shown around the villa by Angela she explained were everything was the welcome basket is great fresh fruit milk and cereals and bread plus 6 cans of sprite 6 cans of Amstel and 6 cans of coke chilled in the fridge just perfectnThe sea is 100meters away there’s 2 supermarkets just across the road one next to the half way house restaurant never ate here so can’t comment. The summertime bar is brilliant and unlike some comments I’ve seen doesn’t play music to the early hours most nights it was turned off at midnight and a great little chill out barnWe were a family of 5 and can’t wait to come back to these villas everything about the villas and staff are perfect the only little niggle would be could do with a bigger safe and put a safe in every bedroom but all the doors and windows are good quality and actually lock properly and the entire complex is gated and has a very good CCTV system. nAngela and her team should be very proud because the service they offer is excellent can’t wait to come back nThe Willis family

Excellent family holiday great location

A family of 6 we had a wonderful holiday here - lots of great local eateries. nnOur tip if you fancy a beach day is to walk round past the small port on the left hand side of the beach and settle down at the small bay. Cheaper beds, snorkelling is great and the service of drinks to the beds is great,

A Fantastic place to stay in Tsilivi

As a family of 10 ( youngest 2 & the oldest 82) we had 2 villas this summer.nThe Villas a set in Beautiful grounds with lots wonderful butterflies fluttering amongst the shrubs.nWe had 2, 3 bedroom villas that were stunning & well presented .nBoth villas had fresh food welcome pack in the fridges along with Coffee & Tea in the cupboard. nWe travelled as a private group & booking therefore Angela arranged for us to be collected in an air conditioned Mercedes Minibus that had room for all our cases and also a wheelchair. nOn arrival we were met by Angela who directed the driver to our 2 adjacent villas where our driver unloaded our cases etc.nAngela showed us around both Villas & fully explained how everything worked.nnEarly every morning the pools were cleaned & checked to make sure they were safe then again nThe house keeping team came in twice a day to change the linen & the pool towels.nEach villa was also cleaned every day.nnEven though the Villas are set in a, sometimes busy area, at night you could not here the hustle & bustle from what we call the main road up at the top that runs through Tsilvi or nearby venues. nWe had a wonderful stay here and look forward to coming back in 2020.nn

Lovely Villa, Singalong Optional

We have just returned from an enjoyable fortnight at Mamfredas Resort, Tsivili. Together with my wife and two daughters we stayed in Katarina Villa on the gated, private estate comprised of 8 villas. nnThe villa itself is spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, as is the private pool and pretty gardens. The rooms are all well laid out with lots of home comforts, although the flat screen TVs in every room only actually worked for half of our stay and some of the other electrical items had seen better days. We were surprised that the en suite bathrooms were quite basic by modern standards, with bath attachment shower heads rather than cubicles. nnThe villa was cleaned daily and we soon learned that anything not chained down would be cleared away by the slightly over-zealous cleaners. Not a major problem but we lost count of the number of full kettles of purchased bottled water were unhelpfully tipped down the sink. nnOn a similar note, the pool and patio area was cleaned daily although we did find the gardeners’ habit of just walking into our private garden unannounced whenever he felt like it a bit disconcerting. The gate can only be secured from the outside. nnDuring the day the private estate was an oasis of tranquility. Sadly however, things were different after dark when the Summertime Bar over the road often became a magnet for the type of rowdy ‘Brit abroad’ many of us dread. Why do they always know all the lyrics to ‘Come on Eileen’ on repeat until the early hours?nnIf you enjoy a quiet evening on the balcony, and the balconies at these villas are undeniably splendid, then it would be best to request a villa as far away from the bar over the road as possible. nnThe resort of Tsivili is nice enough, with the customary ‘strip’ lined by bar/restaurants and tourist shops all peddling the same stuff. Close your eyes and you could be on the Spanish Costa’s, Balearics, the Algarve or any other generic Med resort. This is not all bad because you know what to expect and there are no nasty surprises here. nnThe downside to eating on the ‘strip’ is that all you get to look at is the continuous stream of trucks, coaches, cars and quad bikes. Oh the quad bikes, they are everywhere, usually driven by a tanned young man with a stubbly beard with a girl in a bikini on the back, both in flip-flops and no helmet, dodging unsuspecting pedestrians and 7 tonne trucks while taking selfies. The road fatality statistics on the Greek islands must be the stuff of nightmares. nnThe villas are nicely situated in a quieter part of town towards the narrow sandy beach. We particularly enjoyed the Halfway House restaurant and found it much nicer to eat in these less-manic areas. nnAll of the local Greek people we met were lovely. Tsivili seemed to be quite a British dominated resort and sadly the only poor behaviour we saw was from our own countrymen. nnIn conclusion, my family all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Mamfredas Resort. It wasn’t cheap, but we appreciated the sanctuary that our gated estate provided, even if we do all now know most of the words to Dexys Midnight Runners greatest hits (was there ever more than one?)

Villa perfection

All you could ever want from a villa holiday.nnEasy to book direct, high standard of cleanliness, great location (near enough to everything but not noisy), near the sea but with your own lovely pool.nnPerfection.

Amazing Villas

I can not recommend these villas highly enough, we have stayed in Tsilivi many times but this was our first time staying at Mamfredas and after staying here we wont be staying anywhere else! The Villas are absolutely perfect and the owners have thought of everything. They are extremely spacious with air conditioning in every room, they are spotlessly clean with a daily maid service and towels are changed every day. Both bath and pool towels are provided. The pool area is beautiful and private with plenty of sunbeds. We arrived to a fully stocked fridge and they even provided transfers to and from the airport! The grounds are spectacular, the complex is gated and very quiet. There are 2 supermarkets directly opposite and the beach is 2 minutes walk away. Couldnt have asked for a more prefect holiday.

Fabulous Villas

This is our 7th visit and as usual it was a great stay. nnThe villas are in a great location , close to both the beach, restaurants and shops without the noise. They are well equipped and we will return.

Saffron M

An amazing holiday

We stayed here for a week, the villa was lovely and the garden and pool was a real treat and so peaceful given that you are in a compound in the town. What I didn’t realise when booking is you are also a few minutes from the beach too. Lots of restaurants close by too. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to have a family vacation

The hole resort was very nice and the accommodation was lovely and luxurious. Family-owned business made sure that the customer service was excellent. Only thing that was not so nice was the neighbours and the noises they made. But that is not the resorts fault 🙂

Excellent resort

We were a group of five adults and two children (=1 & 4) from Scandinavia that shared a three bedroom villa in September 2018. The villa was spacious and we felt quite comfortable. The service and cleanliness at this familiy run resort is absolutely top-notch and the resort is highly recommended. Angela and the staff are very attentive. An airport transfer is included at no extra cost. The villas have everything that is needed and the Wifi works fine, both inside and outside the villa. The descripition on Mamfreda‘s webpage is quite accurate. The villas are in a small gated area that creates a little haven in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Tsilivi. The villas‘ backyards are seperated by a man-high hedge so there is good privacy at each villa. The beach is almost next door and has all the usual watersports. There are small supermarkets close by, two bigger and cheaper less than 10 minutes walk away (next to Micriacropoli restaurant on the main road) but the best selection and lowest prices are at the Express Market about 20 minutes walk away. You can drive around the whole island and explore the main sights in one day.

Well worth the money

This has to be one of the nicest places I have stayed nBeautiful villa with absolutely everything you need for a relaxing holiday nClose to everything so no need for a carnThe daily maid service and clean pool towels everyday are great nWould definitely recommend

Perfect in Every Way ?

Our first time in a villa and after this luxury experience in a perfect location we will definitely return. nnWe stayed in the Aphroditi Villa which accommodated the 4 of us comfortably, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs which opened onto an amazing terrace. The double bedroom downstairs with bathroom, opens onto the pool area and garden. nnThe kitchen is well equipped and welcome pack is excellent on arrival. nnThe resort of Tsilivi offers so many excellent restaurants and bars, all within just a few minutes of these villas. The Halfway House opposite offers a varied menu with excellent quality of food. We couldn’t fault any of the restaurants we ate at. nnOur only surprise was how expensive items were in the supermarkets, it is actually cheaper to eat out.

This is our 3rd consecutive year at these villas - and we have just booked again for 2019.nnGreat location near the beach and 5 minutes from main road but nice and quiet.nnImmaculately presented, high standard of fit out, clean towels every day, bedding changed regularly and very friendly owners on site if you have any issues.nnI cant recommend these villas highly enough.

Best holiday ever!

We stayed at Mamfredas for 2 weeks through July/August. We were there for our wedding and it was the most amazing holiday ever. The staff are so attentive and check throughout the stay that everything is ok, the cleaners do an amazing job everyday and the pool area is checked everyday too. Honestly can’t fault these villas as all. On arrival there is an arrival pack which is perfect. The location is very good - close to shops and beach and the resultant, half way house opposite is really really good. We will definitely look at staying here again!!!!

Really really lovely family holiday

We had a really lovely time at mamfredas. We consisted of 5 adults and a 2 year old. Yes it’s quite pricey but we thought it was really worth it. These are serviced villas and the staff are so friendly. The pool was fantastic and the garden lovely. Sun throughout the day. We made use of the barbecue and the outside table in the shade was also used a lot. nThe kitchen was very well equipped and the welcome pack much appreciated nEarly evening on the veranda enjoying a tipple is a must. We realised its much cooler up there. nWiFi was fantastic and having a complimentary safe was lovely. The air con worked fantastically. nAll bedrooms have en suite with an extra toilet downstairs in the utility, which has a washing machine. Fantastic! nNo noise on an evening. Some noise can be heard from the other villas in the day which are slightly overlooked from the upstairs balcony but not downstairs. The foliage separates the apartments. nIf you want a relaxing stay with your family, uninterrupted by other people then this is the place. It’s a really short walk to the beach and there’s everything you could need. I wouldn’t hesitate in bringing my family back here. We had a really really lovely time and that is what it’s all about after all.

We booked a Mamfredas Villa to stay in whilst visiting Tsilivi for our Daughters wedding last week. Five of us stayed in one of these villas and were more than pleased with it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and everything that we needed was available. The villa and grounds were kept spotlessly clean and the welcome package of snacks/drinks on arrival was much appreciated. Loved having our our little garden and pool but sadly we ran out of time and never got to use the brand new BBQ! Should we ever find ourselves in Tsilivi again we will be booking with Mamfredas again.

A shot in the dark

For most people choosing somewhere to stay in the chosen holiday destination is a shot in the dark, fingers crossed and hope for the best. As this is the most important choice after the destination. Well, that shot in the dark hit the bullseye with Mamfredas. What a lovely place, with attentive and happy staff. If your destination is here, then i would definitely recommend here also.

Fabulous Mamfredas

We have stayed at The Mamfredas for 4 years in a row. We have booked up for June 2018. nnThese Villas are beautiful, you’re not overlooked, always get the sun no matter what villa you choose and are cleaned daily by amazing staff. nnOn arrival you have a welcome pack of food and drink.. Which is superb for early morning or late night flight arrivals. The beds are very comfortable for Greece & aircon perfect! The ensuits come in very useful with a family of 5 and always have lovely Olive products to use. nThe pool area is perfect & the surrounding gardens. Even a spot of grass for the son to play a hot game of football with the husband.nVillas are cleaned every single day with fresh towels around the pool and inside the villa. Villas smell beautiful after.nYou are spoiled for choice for restaurants and bars and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. nMamfredas staff are the most friendliest Of people and that is why We return year after year. nIt surely is a hidden gem.

Luxury stay

Thought I may mention our stay recently as a few people have said negative things that just are not true,nFirst off all towels inside and out are changed every day without fail, beds every other day but made every day, cleaning every day very good, pool checked and water tested every day and night without fail,nOur holiday just came back from second stay this year, fantastic time, the people who own these look after you, they even sort your taxis to and from airport ,fill fridge with pop and beer, come check see if you are ok, very nice well mannered people, the kind you would want to liv next door to,quiet villas ,shut your door at night thats it until next morning, villas have. Everything you need,nIf you want more than this you may need to choose another island,nSome peoples comments about villas close by, yes 30ft away all in a 50 pence piece shape but no one troubles you the most you hear is kids in pool just enjoying there holiday, nothing wrong with that, outside area is clean ,gardens are immaculate, restuarant over the road is quiete, and owned by same people, streets are nice, very close to beech, not far to main shops, supermarket in same street,nThese may not be the cheapest villas but you pay for what you get ,no hidden nasties,if you want a villa on any island with no neighbours at all you need to go miles into the mountains and be on your own, this is our 5 th year in tsilivi, this is the best on offer only one other hotel I would recommend,

Superb holiday

These villas are great if you want the flexibility of a villa holiday without the need for a car. They are centrally located in Tsilivi and walking distance to all the resort facilities (beach, supermarkets, bars, restaurants etc). There are 8 villas in total in a circular formation, so if you are looking for something ultra private, then these are not for you. We did have some noisy neighbours for the last half of the week and this did get annoying at times. The Villas themselves are immaculate. 3 double/twin bedrooms all with ensuite, a nice patio area on the upper floor. The ground floor has a large kitchen/diner and lounge area. Outside are the pool and outdoor dining area. We were travelling with an infant and it was perfect. All floors are marble so these can get dangerously slippy if youre wet. Added bonus was a washer/dryer and the very generous welcome pack that included bread, fruit, butter, beer and ham/cheese

Fantastic Villas in a great location

We stayed here at the beginning of September for 1 week. On arrival we were greeted by the receptionist & shown to our villa. The villa was spotless, very spacious & modern. You receive a welcome pack which includes bread, cold meats, fruit, soft drinks & beers which went beyond what we expected. The staff are so friendly, and always pop there head in to see if you need anything. The cleaning staff were fantastic, cleaning & replacing the towels daily. The pool area was lovely & so relaxing with comfy sunbeds. The villas are vera central , only 5 minutes walk from the beach & the resort centre. There are plenty of shops right on the doorstep. The Halfway House restaurant is directly opposite the entrance & the food was amazing & very reasonably priced. We ate there on our 1st & last night. (book a table to avoid disappointment). Summertime bar is right round the corner & does a great breakfast. I could not fault these villas. Even though they are central there is no noise from surrounding bars. They are a little on the expensive side, but I think they are well worth the money & would certainly return.

Jamie C

The villa really was beautiful. It really was beyond expectations. Really quiet area and also with plenty around it. The welcome pack is very generous and had plenty in it (including beer and wine). Staff very helpful, cleaners every day and handyman was very helpful with any queries. The halfway house across the road is brilliant, great food and friendly staff.
